Eating Healthy

Posted on March 29th, 2008 by Lisa Smith in Diet Logs

I know that a lot of Americans are overweight. I am definitely included in that category, even though I’m not obese. I think about eating healthier all of the time. I would love to be healthier and maybe lose a little weight at the same time. Who wouldn’t?

The problem with that is that you have to have money to eat healthy. It is so expensive. It is sad that going to McDonalds and eating off the dollar menu is cheaper for my family of 7, rather than eating healthy. If the Government wants America to eat healthier than they should make it possible for the people that doesn’t have much money. Healthy food is way more expensive in the grocery store than the not so good food for you.

I think that this Country needs to make some important changes. It’s getting ridiculous with the food prices, gas, houses and just the general cost of living. There’s no middle class really anymore. You are either high class or poor. Things need to change.

I agree. It does cost more money to eat healthy food. However, it is much easier for me to take seven dollars, and make a pot of home made stew for my family than to willingly hand them over to Unhealthy fast food.

However, the world is filled with Fast Food Moguls. There are only a few healthy, cheap food, Moguls in the US.
